Improved Website Buttons

As you are aware, we have been updating our website the last couple of months now. We thought it was about time to update our buttons (for quick links). Below is a picture of the new updated buttons, we hope you like them as much as we do!

Integrations

We are excited with this brand new feature! You can now easily login to your account with your Facebook, Twitter or Google account information. Once you have linked your client account with your Facebook, Twitter or Google you will be able to quickly login straight away!  Please do follow this guide by clicking here how to set up "Sign-In Integrations" on your account. Halls Server Monitoring

We have worked really hard on this new feature for our customers. We think you're going to love it! Our Halls Server Monitoring service will allow you to do so much, below is just a small selection of what this new service can do for you.

  • Monitoring intervals - every 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45 and 60 mins for monitoring service
  • Email alerts
  • Multiple contacts
  • Multiple monitoring service – customers can monitor more than 1 website or domain names
  • Response Time
  • Retest Error
  • Length of Downtime
  • Email Alerts based on Length of Downtime
  • Monitoring supports the following protocols:
    • HTTP: Web Server
    • POP3: Email Server
    • SMTP: Outgoing Email Server
    • SSL: Secure Socket Layer
    • DNS: Domain Name System
    • FTP: File Transfer Protocol
    • HTTPS: Secure Web Server
    • MYSQL: MySQL Databases
    • IMAP: Internet Message Access
    • TCP: Custom Ports
    • Website URL Monitoring 
    • Spam Blacklist Check Service: Checks IP/Hostname address with Spam Blacklists

This new service is called Halls Server Monitoring. It will be free for all existing customers, so you no longer have to rely on hyperspin.com, pingdom.com or statuscake.com and all the others on the market. Please click here to see if you have it activated on your account. (You will see Custom Ports, Public Pages, Add Monitor) If you don't see this just get in touch with us by clicking here and we will add it for you.

New customers will only have to pay a very small fee which will be £3.00 every month or a one of cost which is £40.00. This is cheaper than the companies we have stated above.

Halls Bot!

We would like to personally say thank you to everybody who has given us feedback on our Halls Bot. Its been a massive hit, we can confirm today that we will be keeping Halls Bot and its now out of beta. New questions and answers will be added to it very soon.

Halls Loyalty Rewards

Thank you also to everybody who has got in touch with us regarding our Halls Loyalty Rewards Program. We have received so much praise for this and we thank you to everybody who has given their feedback on our program.

We have also decided, to do competitions, where our customers can win Halls Hosting limited jumpers, T-shirts, Mugs, Key rings.

Knowledgebase Improvements

We had a few customers getting in touch with our support team, stating they couldn't see the writing on our articles in our Knowledgebase. We agree it was really hard to read some of our articles. We have improved this by fixing a few bugs and improved the writing in our articles. See the images below of the new changes.

SMS Notification 

Unfortunately, we are no longer supporting SMS notifications to our customers from today. We have found there is only a very small amount customer using this service. By stopping this service, it will allow us to invest more in our servers, upgrades, more staff and better features on our website.

As mentioned above, you will no longer receive notifications via SMS from Halls Group (UK)

But, we can confirm we are working on something much better then SMS!
More information for this will be coming out shortly.  

We Need Your Feedback Regarding - Out of Hour Support *

After having a look at our phone call volumes vs support tickets and live chat. It's a very low number of customers using this service in comparison of support tickets and live chat.

We would like to know the customers who uses or have access to this service would you like to carry on having the option to use it or remove it completely?
